That's crazy, i had a 07' sti in urban grey metallic Wish i still had it as my daily driver.

 

Yup, that's my RX and DD with Boss taking over Track responsibility and a day or so a week to DD.

 

Just noticed your outside pics do the same thing as mine. Make the GB look like a different color of blue in the sunlight (powder blue?). Even with my daughter's super camera it does the same thing. In the shade or under "non-sunlight" the color shows correctly. Anyone know what gives with the GBs?

 

It's all in the camera used and the settings the photos are taken with. GB is unique since it's basically "sky" blue, and most cameras will adjust the white balance and/or light settings to accomadate for all the blue. The only way to avoid it is to really know how to use the camera's settings, or adjust in photoshop later.

 

 

Okay, one more. After detailing was done. FYI, has anyone heard of Opti-Coat? Thinking of using it, but not sure if it's safe on the stripes.

 

Yes, I have heard of it and it is a reputable product that my detailer uses; I am not sure if it is OK to use on the stripes or not.

 

I wouldn't put opti-coat on the stripes Sammy, however it's an amazing product on paint. I highly recommend it.

Thanks all! Going for the Opti-Coat on Jan 31 (minus the stripes). I'm scared to let them touch the stripes as I've even emailed them directly with no answer. It's not touchin' 'em!
