Track insurance by chance? I've never gotten it in the past, but have my first track day with the boss coming up and you pic is making me considering it!

You could do without track insurance if you don't plan to drive your car at the limit, now if your planning to really push your car then you might want to get it.

 

Not the best advice here, you may not be really pushing it on track but someone near you may be pushing it and you could get caught up in their mess if they lose it.

Luckily I did buy track insurance. It should cost me 10% of the loss instead of all 100%. I'm just glad my passenger and I were not hurt.

 

Good attitude. Cars can be repaired/replaced. People, not so much. Glad to hear you wont be too much out of pocket

 

Glad you were ok. If both sides are like that, a strong argument can be made to total the vehicle.

The insurance company can make you whole, less your deductable, and send the car to auction to recoup what they can.
