Race Ramps

Does anyone own or know which ramps will work best for the Boss? I saw there is a 40" and a 56". It did note that the 40" does not work for the C5,C6, and viper. I am guessing this means the Boss too.

I purchased the std. 8" ramps they sell and work fine. Remember the boss sits very high.

I have the 2 pc 56" ones, but I don't know anyone with a boss to try them on.

I believe they have mini ramps you can put in front of the Raceramps to make the angle even less for lower vehicles.

I beleive if you go on there site and look the aproach angles for the two are the same, the longer one will get you two inches higher if memory serves me right and and it is wider. You need to add the shorties on the front to get less of a angle. I have the 2 pc 56" ones and have had my 11 GT on it and also my 12 GT500 and it works great.

Thanks very much for that information. I am looking to either buy the 56" or 67".

I ended up going with the 67' 2 piece from http://www.ogracing.com/race-ramps-67-race-ramps-xt-2. They had a sale and I figured it would be nice to a have the extra 2" in height.

I concur! But after using them like you said well worth it. Being able to store them is a plus as well.

Anybody regret the 56" Ramps not having more height? I'm having trouble justifying the price of these in the first place but I know it will make my life easier. I would get the 2piece regardless but I'm trying to figure out if the extra 2" is necessary. I'm a small guy. Feedback?

I have never had a issue but then again I have not had the extra two inches to compare too lol. I have done oil changes with no prob. I have done cat back exhaust on the 11 GT and the 500, both I needed to jack it up higher off the ramp but was more then 2". I think for just every day use and maint be fine with the shorter ones but if you have a bit more money to spend you can't go wrong with two extra inches.
