Well today I finally installed my CAI.
Removal of original was super easy and quick.
Install of Steeda was easy as well, except for the Foam edging. It wanted to keep lifting especially around the bends. I tried weatherstrip adhesive and it helped alittle.
Loaded the tune without any issues and took it for a ride. Call me crazy, but honestly ,it felt like it was a whole different beast.
Between shifts it seemed to pull like a rocket and seemed like the car was alot louder.

Our tune and CAI will tend to do that ... take an already impressive car and take it to the next level.

Glad to see you are happy with our product and that your gains are impressive.

Don't hesitate to call us or email us if you have any questions or feedback.

Best Regards,

TJ

If weather is good, Tuesday Im suppose to take it back to have it re-dynoed.
Even if its suttle increase i'll still be happy. Love the way it looks and feels/ sounds.
I figured I paid $500.00 for rear louvers for looks, and $300.00 for side ones.
The Steeda is very nice quality and the blue air cleaner looks great with Kona Blue..

I used JB Weld on my gasket to hold it in place, came out awesome.

Love my Steeda CAI!

Looks good
Interested in the dyno results.
Have you thought about the sound tube delete? Would clean up the install some.
Do you have pics of the rear window louvers installed?

Looks great. is that the new Boss CAI or the GT one? Mine isnt polished. If you think the steeda tune is great try an AED tune. I had the the steeda tune. The AED tunes are just insane!

Question does yours whistle at part throttle? Mine does and its annoying.

Mines a Boss CAI.... I hear a very slight whistle at partial throttle, but very very slight.

Never re-did Dyno numbers, didn't have the extra funds and Sunday our tracks closed.

Sorry to revive old thread. When purchasing a Steeda cai and tune, how do they know which tune to pre load? Off of their site, it's just adding the cai and sct tuner with no questions as to what mods you have?

For custom tune orders (non-cam idle):
Custom tune orders are $65 and typically include 1-2 custom tunes (though we can include 3 upon customer request) in different octanes. They are offered in 87, 89, 91 or 93, you will see more performance from the 91 or 93 than the 87 or 89. Please allow 2-3 business days to process a tune order.

Below you will find the information that we need to process a custom tune order:
-Year, Trim, and Transmission Type
-Processor Code (PCM) (three letters and one number, such as ABC5; please let me know if you need assistance regarding where to locate this information)
-Serial number off of your SCT tuning device

If you place the order via our website, we will give you a call to get the information we need for writing your tune.

Your tuner will be pre-loaded with the tunes you have requested (we offer them in 87, 89, 91 or 93 octane, and you can get between 1-3 tunes).

Let me know if I can help you with anything, forum members do get a discount.
