So one of the other forums for local track rats I frequent has an official lap times thread. What do you guys think about starting one. I bet we will frequent the same tracks and for no wall most people cite is that LS time put down at Laguna. Anyway, i thought it would be cool to have a list of what those of us driving our own cars run at our favorite tracks. i poked around and didn't find anything here already, if i missed something point me in the right direction.

If you aren't timing your laps, Trackmaster on Android devices or Harry's on iPhone will do the trick for cheap. If you think it's a good idea be sure to say how you cam by the time ie GPS timer or passenger with a stop watch, etc. A second off is a big difference IMHO so the more accurate the better. be sure to list the track name and location and if you have mods list them in the post especially tires/sizes.

That way if your mods change even if they are in your sig now we can see what improved or hurt your times mod wise on the same track over time. We could just edit the existing posts with new times so one driver is in each post, would be easier to see what one fast guy like Gary (cloud9) or frequent track rat is doing. Also don't use acronyms for the track if you want to participate, spell the entire name out since people in other states may not know what the track is you are talking about. list where the track is too. Track ****** not running the Boss are welcome to play, just be sure to put what you are driving. if you have vid or pics of the sessions toss them up too. Your track experience would be a nice add. No guessing times!

Best time recorded with Trackmaster app: 2:10.621 (daily driver record is a late model 911 Turbo at 2:02-ish)

 

Lime Rock Park 1:04.78 Timed with GTech Fanatic.
Stock PZeros 255/285 on 302S wheels, 3768lb race weight(I am a fat bast*rd 6'-1" 265) Goal is a 1:02.xx for 2012.

Your best lap in the video was the second one which was pretty clean @ 1:00.3 which is not too shabby in a street car. Was your Boss in stock trim?

 

There you go Ron 1:00.37 is what I had you at. When the Grand Am cars run there, laps at 1:01 to 1:02 are what the mid pack guys do after 10-15 laps so you got it going pretty good there.

Yes the GS class cars, pole speeds are in the high 56.xx to low 57.xx, I go every Memorial day weekend and like to time them. 1:00 flat in a street car with Hoosier R6 is hauling at Lime Rock. You see in the video how smooth Ron drives and how he was eating those guys up. Boss 302s especially LS's are the real deal.

I am in Westchester County near the Airport. Lime Rock is my "home" track 90 minutes away. I am down for a Boss get together anytime. Also will be going to Watkins Glen at least once and trying to get to VIR for my first time.

Heres my in car from VIR awesome track .Only been there once but would love to go back.I will most definitely be going to Watkins Glen too.Come spring we can post a Northeast track schedule.

I will be going to the Glen also. Hopefully a couple of times. Less than 2 hours away. Been on the track, just not at full speed. I see track days are just starting to be posted for the Glen. Also want to go to Limerock, which is about 6 hours away.
