It's difficult to operate when you're heel- toe downshifting into your turn in point.

Amen 4pipes. I'm in that car to haul @$$, not talk on a phone. My Fusion and my GT500 both have Sync, and I use it. But not in the Boss, thank you very much.

The Boss 302 is a way stripped down version of anything you might be expecting. Don't get me wrong, I would love to be able to have the upgraded speakers and all that extra fluff because I don't plan on tracking it like others do. The thing is it is touted as a track ready, street legal Mustang. This being the case, you won't find many of those comfort features unfortunately.

I say unfortunately, and others say "thank goodness". The race track is the reason Ford didn't put all that extra stuff in it and I understand that..even if I don't like it. I want it cause it's different and I like that. Thing is when I priced out a Mustang GT with all the options I wanted on it, it came out to about 41k as well. So I figure I don't need all that comfort stuff seeing as I won't have to run out right away and mod my exhaust or things of that sort.

The music from your Boss comes from your right foot.

While I won't miss the other electronics omitted from the Boss but I wish SYNC was included. Think of it as hands free communication with your pit crew.

There's an IPOD jack. That's good enough for me.

And the 95R that I just sold didn't have sound deadening, a rear seat, a radio, speakers or wiring, air conditioning or power windows.

I really didn't even ask, but I am assuming the BOSS comes without power seats ( I hope ) but does it come with power windows?, cause that's a lot of weight!! Ipod jack is good enough for me!!

If you want sync in your boss 302 you are missing the point of the car.

QFT.

If the car had SYNC, I would be less inclined to buy the car actually.

Manual windows would have required new door panels, window crank and other hardware inside the door. Not only would it have added cost to the project, but assembly line complexity.

And the Mustang relies on the power windows for a better seal when you open and close the door. Manual windows would not allow it.

Modern power windows add very little extra weight over manual windows. There is only about 1-1.5 lbs difference in power vs manual windows on my Miata for example.

If your Boss doesn't have enough "toys" for you, give it to me. I'm easy to please!

Seriously, if you want toys, the Boss is not the car for you. It's a toy on it's own.

Sad part is alot of people will buy a Boss and not even use it for what its intended for. Shame, shame, shame!
