You are old as dirt! I'm turning 29 in a few weeks lol
Anyways let's end this side discussion before the locals incite a riot for false-alarms on possible new info in this thread

On another note:
I probably should not go into this but I did get word today from a friend at the event (he is very high up with a major car publication sorry can't use his name) that the YB Boss was 2-3 seconds faster than the other cars on the track. He told me a Ford rep said it has to do with the way the air flows off the "tri-coat" paint and the fact they are putting the best motors in the YB's. He stated the Ford rep told him that "they are not paying an extra 500 bucks for nothing". The full article should be out in a day or two so sit tight. Hope none of you guys are second guessing that color choice?

Has your friend always been a heavy drinker?
Everyone knows that the fastest color is White, which is why race cars start as "bodies in white".
And you're paying the extra $500 just to have a car that looks like creamed corn....
Sorry dude, had to poke back...

Although it may seem other wise I have been patient because I know it will arrive when it does, yes it would be better driving instead of typing but still I have been patient. Now that I see more pics I am really can't wait any longer, I want it here today.

No the signal to noise ratio is getting a little high.
I'm sitting here reading though no wading through posts that have no links to stories or cool quotes, no tech..........
I didn't see a reference to the "How old are you?"
And I was like WTH?

Updated spec sheets are now available on the Ford Boss media site.
Changes of note:
- Oil capacity now 8.5L (up from 8.0L)
- Front caliper pistons now 40/44mm (vs 43/43mm). If this is an actual engineering change then that's great. More even pad wear is now possible. This will mean that the calipers are now different L/R.

The rear calipers are single-piston 43mm. Probably just a typo when the marketing guy got the specs and transferred em.
8.5L is a lot of oil, very close to the 9L deep-sump RR oil pans!
I know what you were saying, I was responding with a smart-*** comment

Also--Race Red is obviously the fastest color. It has RACE in the name, duh!

Either way this isn't a problem, real race pads are readily available as are ducting kits.

Will better pads help with cooling? And it's not clear which car they were talking about. In the video they are driving a black LS. Too bad the tach in the video graphics stopped at 6,000 rpm.
