So based on what you have experienced so far, what do you feel is going to work better long term, square set up or staggered? I know its early on, but I just wanted to know more about your first impressions as far as wheels since one of my earliest mods is going to be 18" wheels and tires.
Sorry, that's not much of an answer, but I won't really know without more seat time.

Yea I understand Scott. I knew I was going to be a guinea pig getting one of the first cars. I "think" staggered as it "felt" better. However, I was also running a 40 profile on the square setup, and I've only previously run 30s and 35s, so that alone will probably feel different. I would like to try a set of 35s on the square setup before I make a definitive statement. Also, would need more time on the 40s to get used to them. I'm "used" to the staggered setup, so it could just be familiarity.

It maybe that your used to a car that understeers. You say it "seemed" like it wanted to snap oversteer but did it? I noticed just driving aggressively on the street, I had a tendency to turn in more than I needed too. I not sure if it a streering ratio thing or just that it doesn't understeer like most cars.
I decided to replace the R888s with NT01s so that I'm running the same tire on both setups. (Square setup is 275/40.18 NT01s all around) I was going to order R6s for the staggered set, but figured that's too many variables running two different tires. I'm going to try 315/30/18 rear and 275/35/18 front. One thing I liked about the 35 profile fronts over the 40s is lowering the car further.
