Couldn't agree more. I usually put my shocks at 1 for the street. I wouldn't call it plush but more than acceptable for the street. I also leave my splitter on all the time plus the brake ducts. No problems!

Also, I think the std Boss and the LS have the same amount of sound deadening stuff. You can hear stones hitting the wheel wells but that's about it.

I haven't noticed any difference in the amount of (sweet glorious ) noise between the two.

I have used the V12 Hankook's for street driving and found them very acceptable in traction, noise and cornering. I have not used them on the track, going back to the OE Pirelli's for that.

If you can purchase a '12 LS under MSRP, I believe you will be very happy!

+1 on that!
I too have the V12 Hankooks and have used them on street and track. Not so good for hard track use but great on the street. The stock Pirellis are outstanding for about one day on the track, but almost everyone I know has had them de-laminate after just a few hard sessions. Be careful!
We use our Boss for everything. It is much more refined than you would ever imagine. I drive mine with shocks on 4 or 5 even on the street. I find the ride better than my C6 was. The seats are fantastic for track or long trips. Both my wife and I agree, every time we drive this car we cannot help from grinning ear to ear. 7000 smiles and counting on our LS...

Thanks guys. I'm not a professional at the track or anything, with Ford's marketing, they almost make the LS sound like it is only for the track.

No worries, I will be tracking it, just not amazingly well out of the gate.

You will probably surprise yourself. Ford has dialed this in and fine tuned it to where it will make you much better than you realize, right out of the box.
Looking forward to hearing you rave about your experiences.
