Just because you majored in those subjects doesn't make you immune to mistakes. And when people call you out on mistakes you immediately think they are doing it only because they are anti-intellect? That's almost like playing the race card for every little incident.
And how is this a constant problem in everyday and internet life? Do you constantly go around telling people how smart you are and your GPA? I have yet to meet one person in real life that told me their GPA and majors in casual conversation, let alone 6-10 years after graduating.
