Seriously, why are you even posting in this thread? And why am I even wasting my time explaining this to you since this information has been available since November 2010.

Ooooh....sweet. Thread discrimination.

As someone with such advertised academic skills, your skills of research should be top notch. Please read the forums, the numerous articles about the Boss 302 and it's history, before asking questions that have been asked and answered for nearly a year now.

You can't sit around complaining about anti-intellectualism, and then ten minutes later ask questions that are readily available public knowledge. Part of intellectualism should be careful analysis, research before coming up with your own hypothesis.

With the 69/70 Boss if you use the words "drag pak" you can really start something so with the new Boss the bad words will be " track key".

Lest I get beat down by the elitist mentality of more "superior" Mustang owners in the Boss forum where I, a V-6 member, dared venture. I'll keep that in mind for future reference.

Well to be fair, vbulletin's search function sucks!

Besides, he's been busy palpating a mare.

I don't even own a Mustang currently, driving a 2010 MX-5. I am a Mustang enthusiast and a fan of the Boss 302 so I've done my homework on the car.

Mustang owners are a lot of different things, but "elitist" is not one of them. Especially considering most BMW/Lexus/luxury car people thumb their nose at Mustangs.

You got that straight.

Seriously, you post incorrect information that you know nothing about and then have to back track. You asked for it.

I agree with you very much on that point...but I've been to enough club meetings and runs involving Mustangs not to become very aware that elitist behavior is alive and well in the Mustang community when it comes to the various tiers of Mustang ownership. I know several GT500 owners alone who bristle when their cars are referred to as "Mustangs".

All this got WAY off track...my fault and others...and I apologize for my part. There's enough stress in life without a place of recreation like this getting muddied. And for all I do know about cars and Mustangs...I never cease to be amazed by the in depth knowledge of many on this and other forums.

4.0 < common sense

I wonder if they could make your ban retroactive?

door mat < 4.0
door mat < common sense
common sense and 4.0 together > 4.0 and common sense alone due to synergies

I think the fact that none of us gives a flying hoot about your or anyone else's GPA, alma matter, annual income, stock portfolio, upbringing, social status, or other useless demographics is proof enough that we are not the elitists you make us out to be.

Speak for yourself. People don't attack things/personal characteristics they don't care about. You ever talk to someone you didn't care about? No. You ignored them. Same applies here. I'm still waving the white flag but people keep ignoring it...and so it goes. I never made this about me or anything about me...I was attacked, I was PERSONALLY attacked and then piled on over a nitpicky thing then I defend myself and now I'm the bad guy? Excuse me?

Just saying: Track key or not. The Boss is slow and underpowered.

A simple solution would be to not have track key available from Ford dealers in California. Those who have B302's could go to Oregon, Nevada or Arizona dealers to have them programmed. Is this too simplistic? Probably wouldn't work with some interstate commerce clause crap that I don't know about.....
