Looks great Dave! Did the roads dry out at all for you this afternoon? Any thoughts on driving the Boss so far? Looks like the fire extinguisher bolts under the seat mounts, is the correct? Do you have a link to where you purchased it? And...did you get the decals off without leaving residue? Have fun with your new toy.

Yes, under the seat. Just wasn't enough room to mount to the seat (prefered). I bought it here:

http://www.livermoreperformance.com/...e_systems.html

Got the decals off w/o solvent, but removed a tiny bit of residue with Gloo Begone.

I've rowed my own gears my whole life and I'm finding the Bosses shifter a bit balky. I'm sure I'll adapt with some miles.

Took the disks out today and wasn't disappointed. Dry roads starting tomorrow.

Technically the color name is 'performance white' but you have a legimate claim to call it high performance white with 444hp :-)

Looks great...enjoy!

Thanks for the link. Did you use the universal mount or the Ferrari Testarossa mount?

Universal mount. It's shown installed in a GT500.

No worries! I think you coined a term that Ford marketing people could have used on this vehicle!

Say more about your shifting. Are you noticing only certain gears? Certain temps?

PS - User 'proboss' used the term 'hp white' so perhaps I misattributed the coinage :-) At any rate, that white car will be performing!

Nice car, congrats. We're only three builds between (I'm 186). Are you feeling rough shifts going from 1st to 2nd or what? I just posted on this here

Glad you wrote that. I thought I was a dumb a$$, miss third all the time and downshifted a few times incorrectly. I need to double check to see I am in first to start out and force it into 5th. When you do get that perfect smooth up shift at high RPM's it is quite a feeling get pushed back in the seat. It is going to take me time to get use to the shifter (trans made in China BTW).

No, my first to second is ok, my problem is similar to Scott's. I'm sure it's because of the spring bias that pushes the lever to the left when in the 5/6 position and right when in the 1/2 leg.
