Ford will not sell an extended warranty on my Boss. They claim it is because Track key was issued to my car. I never ordered track key. Has anyone heard this?

When you say issued does that mean activated? We all got the red key but not all activated it. Either way if you never activated it then it's total BS on their part.

 

Never activated Track Key. No one can explain what they mean by "issued"

 

May mean that every Boss that rolled off the assembly line was issuied Track key. But you had to go to Ford Racing to get the paper work and then a ford dealer to activate it. so the A-holes at the warranty think you have track key activated. Even the 2014 track pack stang after a certian month can get track key installed. Which is crap for boss owners... it was to be a Boss only feature. Call Ford racing and see if they can send you some paper work stating that your Vin # car was NOT activated... They will know!!
