Not really louder, but a much deeper tone. I have them with my sidepipes open and the noise is absolutely perfect, inside and out. Plus, they are cheap and don't drone so it's win win.

What he said. Got'em on my 14 GT 'vert (no sidepipes though), and I love the sound, especially with the top down. They excel when going through old stone tunnels.

I'd say a little louder, deeper tone, and are lighter too!

Everyone warned me they wouldn't be loud enough once I got used to them. Everyone was right. Sound awesome for daily driving I think but I am pickin up as set of something louder for next season. But I still smile when I get on the highway next to a wall and hear a bit of echo of the gt500's. Very nice.

My guess would be Borla, Corsa, or Roush for loud, louder, and more louder.. Excuse the poor grammar.

I think the roush would get old real fast. Very loud. Borla is nice but I don't like the rolled tips. I like the 4" straight slant cut of the boss and gt500 tips

There's a reason the GT500s are so popular, they hit the sweet spot for most people. I also like the Corsas, but not for 2x the cost...

Plus, they're direct swaps. And it's important to me, and maybe some others, that any mods I do are with as much OEM as possible.

Considering muffler delete and just running straight pipes for the axle back. Probably will keep the GT500's for the street, but for track days swap to the open pipes. So others can hear me coming of course

But for daily driving swap... not sure yet, as I plan to do headers in the not-too-distant-future, and going cat-less will make things quite a bit louder even with the GT500's...

I have a set of 3" muffler delete axlebacks with Stainless Works 4" tips that I'd sell you for cheap! $80 plus whatever shipping is? I had a local muffler shop fab them up for me. Ready to bolt on using factory connection and hangars!
