If you have a Laguna Seca on order and received your VIN in May, can you check in here? I am still waiting for a Q1 LS VIN assignment even though we are now seeing Q2 (Boss) cars being scheduled. I am wondering if there is a minor delay in the LS's or if it is just my order that is a little stuck. Thanks!

 

I think part of the question that should be asked is are you sure that it is in fact a Q1 car? What I would do is send a message to FordCustomerService here on this site with your dealer name and order number and see what they can come up with in regards to your order.

 

Friends of friends inside of Ford have confirmed it is a Q1 allocation, and dealer's story is the same for the last 4-5 weeks in that the car will be built with the next set of LS's to go under construction. If no other LS's confirmed getting VINs in May, it just could be the case that this has been true all along and just some minor delay of LS builds.

 

Got my vin at the first of the month...build date was originally set for the 16th of May....then the build date got moved back to the 24th of May..... window sticker came up Wednesday......tracking daily...its in the "body shop" today...scheduled to go down the line Tuedsay...ETA 2 June....if you can believe anything about ETA's. Q2 car.

 

hmmmmm...... I would begin to question the friends of your friends...... just sayin'

Yeah me too.....I am anxious but have learned since placing my order in Dec that this is a SLOOOOW process at best and nothing is for sure til you have the keys in your hand and its parked out front!

 

I hope u get urs June 2nd! Mine is scheduled June 5th! The dealer is closed on Sunday so the 6th would be great! That will be exactly 6 months from ordering!

 

2nd Quarter LS build. I received my vin#, build date 6/20 and ETA of July 8th this afternoon.
