Update;
Spoke with a manager at my dealer this afternoon, car still shows as in "produced status" (since 4/26) but he now shows a "hold override" on it. All calls and pm's on my part to Ford are going unanswered.
I suspect, as does my dealer that there is a "lot" hold on this batch because of a problem and Ford is reluctant to be forthcoming on it because of potential bad PR.
Just my 2 cents, and as always....I don't know what I don't know.

Sent you a PM today. Hope you can give me some good news shortly since all my salesman said when I called yesterday was; "the district manager is checking we'll call you when we have any news."
That's the exact same thing he said when I made the over 200 mile roundtrip drive Monday a week ago so I could sit in his office and get the latest news face-to-face as to why my car wasn't here.. Boy was he surprised.

My ETA was yesterday but it didn't show. Deysha says it doesn't have an ETA even though the ETA was shown as 05/31/2011 since April. Finally got a response from dealer this morning and he says ETA is still showing as 05/31 and that it "should be here any day". Gotta wonder if anybody knows what is going on.

To be perfectly honest the whole no communication on what the problem is and when it will be resolved has seriously begun to sour me. I've been waiting a week since I spoke with Ford and they "escalated" my concerns. Does it really take a week to answer a seemingly simple question?
As a business owner myself my #1 goal is customer satisfaction and I understand that communication is key in making that happen.
Maybe my pointed comments put me in the back of the line here for getting a answer but at this point does it really matter? It is what it is...
I've begun a search for one thats on the ground already and if I find one will talk about getting my deposit back.
