Cam upgrade to my boss
Not a Procharger, but we installed a Kenne Bell 2.8LC on my Boss back in April 2011...made 783RWHP with only a BAP, o/r X pipe, 72 lb/hr injectors, and 10 rib blower upgrade! Google "Kenne Boss" It was 930 HP at the motor according to 5.0 Mag and their video. All I know is there was NO traction till 4th gear and would hve run high 9's with slicks and skinnies

Thinking about the comp stage three cams and everything to go with it, headers tune, etc. i have done some cam swaps on pushrod engines in the past but have never even pulled the valve covers on an overhead cam engine. So my question is how hard is it? Seems fairly straight forward almost like it would be easier than a pushrod set up but i dunno. So whats yalls opinion harder or easier?
Thats kinda what i was thinking. I was thinking you could maybe put something around the chain to keep them tight like a cable tie then once the cams are in and bolted back i place just remove it. I dunno tho. I think im going to by an engine manual so i can do some more reasearch.
