Boss CAI
i live around tyler, it was a several hour drive to the track. as for the install on the mods, i'm going to san antonio to mike murillo's shop.
Hey, the drop-in is a "free" mod for most sanctioning bodies, whereas CAIs either bump you a class, or cost points, etc.. Nothing is minor to a racer looking for an edge :-)

Not sure, but I'd be happy to do a back-to-back dyno test to compare...
Looks like we need to get a TX BOSS meet lined up sometime, there's a few of us on here.
TBH if the increase is really only 2-3hp, it might be within the normal range of run-to-run variation on a dyno. But I'm happy to be the guinea pig (unless someone else beats me to the punch).

I gained 33 rwhp and 32 rwtq with a Lund tune and JLT at evolution in March...3 months later I LOVE it, drives much snappier in the low to mid range and pulls like crazy to 7900-8000 rpm. Its at evolution now for some more mods!!
^^ this, what about the texas mile in October? it would rock to see a bunch of boss cars show up for the event.
