Race Red w/ black would be my pick.

While they're at it, maybe Ford will throw in a huge stereo with video monitors in the headrests. Swap out the Recaros for heated seats with massage. Offer an automatic transmission. I mean, if Ford really wants to adhere to the spirit of the BOSS 302, that's what they'll do.

In the promo video for the upcoming show on Speed, Dave Pericak says that the red key is included with the purchase of the car. Of course, he's been wrong on details in a number of his interviews.

Terms like "low or limited" production are all relative. I'd bet that over the course of two model years, Ford will build enough Boss 302's to satisfy demand. Laguna Seca may be a different story, though.

I understood it as the key is included but the engine calibration activated by the key is what you need to buy from Ford Racing. I also assume that you have to go to the dealership to have them download it into the car so the key can cause it to be in effect.

bluetooth, nav, etc. this is the route I went in my Bullitt that gave me these functions while allowing me to keep the S1000 system.

The fact that some people want a few options, again who the hell doesn't want a security system in their Boss!?, is no reason to try and demean them.

I wouldn't want a security system on my BOSS, there you go. The factory system included in the basest of current Mustangs along with the chip in the key are more than enough for me, and I'd never want anything more.

I'd be perfectly fine with that, but since Ford doesn't make any Mustangs without AC or PW like they have in the past, it wouldn't be as easy as it was years ago.

The BOSS 302 is a niche vehicle. If you want gewgaws, get a GT Premium.
It's like saying, "I want a Lotus Elise but I'd really like it to have a room for four, 16-way adjustable power seats, a commodious trunk, 20-inch wheels, and radar cruise control." If your perfect Lotus Elise sounds like an S-Class Mercedes, maybe what you really want is an S-Class Mercedes.
