All I can say is I have never had my car on a road course and probably never will. The only time I would ever have the opportunity to race a 1LE is on the highway or at a dragstrip, both of which I will most likely win, unless the Camaro is pretty well modded.

You are posting in the wrong forum if all you think there is to racing is drag racing.
Bandwagon-er I like this because I do like all cars not just fords. When I buy I look for the best band for the buck and the 1LE is it right now . Its also why I had a EVO-8 before the mustang I like all kinds of cars and iam not afraid to try them .

Your right no one goes to the track stock. Each car has it good points and it bad points and it up to the guy that working on the car to fix his weak spots and max his strong points. The most important thing is to have fun why doing it .
With the 1LE it going to be weight and more HP for the most part it looks like the handing part is done .

I would not buy a 1LE, liked the Zl1 for a few minutes, until the Z28 came out. I think I will stick with the Boss, but, if a Sunroof and Nav Z28 comes out and is $45K...
But, until then, I am more than satisfied with my GHIG302.

I don't like the looks of the SS ZL1 Z28 1LE and whatever the hell else they are called. Geez.
I kind of like the looks of the stripped down base V6 body though. Got some decent lines when to take all those fugly SS edges off the thing. It's like that ugly Monte Carlo SS trim all over again.

If you can afford a $50k hot rod but can't afford to maintain it, you can't afford it. That magnetic fluid suspension system is phenomenal and probably one of the most innovative technologies in a very long time. price of Boss $45k - $50k
price of 1LE? $40k or so
price of Z28? $65k and more (I think dealers will be at $75k)
I think the Z28 will cause our Boss to go UP in value..
...it takes $65k++ car to beat our $45k car....
.......the Z28 was built to take on the Boss..
.........yes it'll be faster but at $65k++++
I think MANY Z28 will be bought out by "collectors" which won't bring to the track....

Bosses are not going up in value some local dealers still have 2012 Bosses on the lots. That's what dealers get for charging ADMs. I hope they take a huge hit on them

First off i like my mustang . I have had a set Koni and Steeda sport springs on my car with in the first month of picking the car up from the dealer (trying srping set-up #4 now ) and that was way back in AUG. of 2010 . I am running a P275-40 19 SQ tire set up. The Brembos that came on the car work good. I got 57,000 miles on the car and want to try something new . I not getting the 1LE because i hate my mustang i like my mustang I just want a change .
