It's more like 10 years in an automotive application and GM was the first to really use it from what I understand. Cadillac and corvettes mainly. And the system was not really tuned for racing but ill bet with the right programming it could be unbelievable.

Ha! There is no need to make the car faster, I have seen a Neon hold off an M5 even though the M5 is faster. If this was LS1tech they would be doing the same, it's a GM site, and this is a Mustang site, of course we aren't all going to like a Camaro even if it's made of diamonds.

I edited it, and yeah I am sure it can be awesome but if Formula 1 cars don't need it then currently it is just fluff to me. I would rather see what regular suspension can still do.

Make our cars faster? The base 5.0, on 235's, turns faster times than 12.9 @ 110, sounds like the 1LE could use a couple mods

One day go test drive a CTSV and intentionally try and push it past its limits. Try and lose the *** in it. This system is not fluff. It's expensive and unnecessary but it works great.

The Camaro is butt ugly but a well built car. Nuff said.

I have nothing wrong with it being a well built car, unlock others I have no problem being slower then other better prepped cars, and I would love a CTSV but like you stated it's unnecessary for performance.

Nope. Mustangs are great cars. Camaros are great cars. Challengers are great looking cars. Why so much hate? Hate the damm ricers and ze Germans.

I don't hate them, I like all 3 actually. All I posted was a side by side review of each car by the same editors.
The Camaro is a good buy, especially for the price.

I`m not a camaro hater, hell I even had a 2010 SS that I traded for the boss.
The 1LE must be something special to be faster around a track then the boss because the handling of my SS was not confidence inspiring at all.

The Boss blew me away with the handling and power, no comparison between the two. The handling may have steeped up to be better or atleast as good as the boss, but the LS3 motor is still the same engine and never felt that powerful in the camaro IMO.

My wifes very first drive in the boss was all by herself. She came back saying the boss had so much more power and handled like it was on rails. She hated the boss looks wise compared to the camaro.

The magazines can say all they want, I'm not sold on the 1LE's performance. The SS goes from huge "pile of ****", even behind the challenger, to being the most amazing thing they've ever seen. And all it took was a couple suspension upgrades and gears?

fix'd - People who know a thing or two about muscle car history and Camaro fans in particular know what a 1LE is and definitely what a ZL1 is.

I wasn't talking in general, I meant when compared to "Boss" or "Shelby".

Were to start lighting lap 2013 1LE 3.01.60>LS Boss 302 3.02.80
Wacth the video they talk about why the 1LE is better than the SS around Vir.

They didn't post lap times but said the 1LE posted faster lap times http://www.automobilemag.com/reviews...2/viewall.html

Here a MT video not a Boss vs 1LE but the GT and the 1LE it KILLS the GT track pack
So why did ford not give MT a Boss 302 to test against the 1LE ???

Here the first test of the 1LE by MT http://www.motortrend.com/roadtests/...le_first_test/ the only test the boss beat the 1lE in is a drag race .

So I remember back in 2012 and the Boss was just coming out and all the BMW guys were saying NO WAY the Boss 302 is that much Faster than a M3. Now here we are 2013 and the shoes on the other foot .

Well back in 2010 I took a chance on the mustang with it new motor and all the GM boys saying there no way a 302 going to make that kind of power and look what happen . So as of right now I got a 1LE on order . Its a 2 options 1SS, 1LE, NPP Exhaust so in about 5 to 6 weeks I will find out first hand how good or how not so good it is .

Dude no one cares about your pre-riced 1LE or that it's .5 secs faster around "insert random track name here". Does the Base GT beat it in a straight line for 10k less? Yes? Nuff said.

P.S.
Nice black hood and wheels, very fresh look.
