I do agree. However, I'm considering an auto next time around, so I don't have to worry about my fiancée driving the car 
Hopefully by then, she'll either have learned to drive stick to my standard, or the autos will be good enough that I won't miss stick. I'll probably have a stick car also, just to satisfy that itch, though.

Who wants to shift a hot rod pickup? It's hard enough to keep your butt in the seat with two hands on the wheel in a truck anyways.

Hot rod truck with a manual is just a death trap and offers no performance or comfort advantage. So why bother?
On the other hand, the GT500 with an auto option would probably boost sales. The old rich guys with bad hips and knees would be all over that. So would the drag racers.

After watching the video, it sounded like the driver said something about popping his tire ?
Anyway, my guess is he either had it turned off, or was just plain stupid and didn't know what in the hell he was doing to begin with
