Then I stand corrected on that, however what I don't understand is why none of the last generation 2007-14 GT500's ever came with autos

Hopefully by then, she'll either have learned to drive stick to my standard, or the autos will be good enough that I won't miss stick. I'll probably have a stick car also, just to satisfy that itch, though.

I don't know either, but the 93-04 Cobras didn't, and neither did any of the other SVT cars. Only the Lightning and Raptor were available with autos, and for that matter they were auto-only.

Yes ! your exactly 100% spot on, as none of the SVT Cobra's from 93-04 had auto's in them, but what really doesn't make any sense is you could only get an SVT Lightning and Raptor in an automatic transmission.. Very strange to say the very least

Yes it should have come with an auto option. Would be a great option with that kind of power.

Who wants to shift a hot rod pickup? It's hard enough to keep your butt in the seat with two hands on the wheel in a truck anyways.

Hot rod truck with a manual is just a death trap and offers no performance or comfort advantage. So why bother?
On the other hand, the GT500 with an auto option would probably boost sales. The old rich guys with bad hips and knees would be all over that. So would the drag racers.

After watching the video, it sounded like the driver said something about popping his tire ?

Anyway, my guess is he either had it turned off, or was just plain stupid and didn't know what in the hell he was doing to begin with
