I didn't know it was started, just throwing it out there LOL.
But glad to hear it's equal at least!
I have friends who can't go out unless their wives say so and it's pretty damaging to other friends.

Yeah, there was a fellow member who turned it into a crazy bible thumping argument that God put men in charge of women etc. A mod cleaned it all out and some people got temp breaks from the forum per the mod.

Also I will fit in the Mustang better come the fall I am 6'1" and was 295 lbs and am now at 278, want to be down to 240 or less by the time my car arrives

You're an inspiration, man. Keep up the great work.

Just a guess but you're going to love your new Mustang even more than most guys.

Please post a picture of it for us to see when you get it. I am sure everyone is curious to see the car that you wife gave you the "OK" for. As for me I am onboard for one of the Shelby GT350s but I don't know what color I will get.

Save money, improve health, and get a new mustang. Seems like a win, win, win situation to me.

You guys that hate women must be attracting the wrong kind. I have been married 23 years and I have no problems like you all describe. No, I don't have a brand new GT500 in the driveway but I have someone that to share my life with along with a couple of great kids.

My wife let me get a new mustang and pump over $10k into it, and I rarely even drive the thing. Then she lets me get a new 2014 truck, and any gun I want. We never tell each other what to do with our money, since we have joint accounts we just let each other know what we are buying so we can keep track of funds.

I totally consent. I've been happily married for 15 years and my wife and kids are first priority. I am German. Ever since I was a 7 year old kid I have wanted to own a Mustang one day. An American soldier had taken me for a ride in his 1969 Mustang, I could never forget that car. The 2015 Mustang will be officially sold in Germany and my wife told me that it is time to make my dream come true. The only problem I see is that I will need my next car in Dezember when the lease on my daily driver (Fiesta) runs out and I don't think the new Mustang will be here before at least April next year. So, what shall I do? Should I try to elongate the lease and get the Mustang when it arrives for sale in Germany or should I just get me some other new Ford and postpone my dream for another 3 or 4 years?
