Funny how we have to get their permission. I drove my beat up 1993 Trans Am until the wife finally broke down and said I could get whatever new car I wanted as long as I got a new car. I was leaning towards the Camaro but I just like the style of the Mustang better. This is my first Ford since 1987. I have had 2 Mazdas though, a truck and a 5.

Haven't you learned yet, women are LIARS! Mine says I can get a 2015 Fastback and keep the 2011 Convertible... there are better chances of me winning the Mega Millions than that happening! I came home with a new truck one day without ever even mentioning it... and that seriously didn't go over well. She knows I get the itch every couple years, and when I start pointing out cars on the road she starts worrying that I'm going into 'trade mode'. Which of course I am. 
I mope around and talk about how stupid I am for wanting to trade off a perfectly good car for, and eventually she tells me to go do what makes me happy. And for that I am grateful. And poor.

I got the blessing too. She actually likes it better than I do. We will be getting comp orange. Hopefully with track pack. She knows I'm saving up for another one so it's just a matter of time... Hard to stop a freight train once it's going. I have the itch and she knows it.
