I am not sure if it has been said yet but please, please, please, for the love of all things Holy, Unholy, good, and bad NO MFT (MyFordTouch). I have it on my '12 Titanium and that chit SUCKS. Ive had to take the Focus back 3 times just to have that program looked at.

Its probably coming but it needs to be a stand alone option. I absolutely hate it and for me Ford would have to discount the car heavily to make me buy one with it. Once Ford digs their heels in on something and commits they never let go even when they have screwed up. Mustangers are probably the most vocal group of critics out there so if they think the Focus people are screaming about it just throw it in the next Mustang and watch the lid come off.

If you think MFT is bad, go use Cadillac's CUE on an ATS. Holy **** it's terrible!
I've used it quite a bit on a number of vehicles and haven't had it act up once. I don't always agree with some of the design choices (why only 6 preset radio stations instead of 10 now?) but the system has come a long way. I think the truck setups with redundant controls are the best designed of the brand.

Adrian ! Here's my question for you.. What do you like more about the 2005-09 Mustang over the 2010-12 ?
What I don't quite understand is.. The 2011 and up have the 420 HP 5.0 4v Coyote w/6 speed manual over the 2005-09 4.6 3v 300 HP w/5 speed manual..
The 2011's and up are far more advanced technology wise over the 2005-09 Mustangs and are also significantly improved/refined in overall quality materials as well, especially interior wise..

Unfortunately those days are over, especially with Mustang going global, the majority of people who want a Mustang want to buy into the imagery and the hype, to be part of that history but they don't want the sorts of compromises that made them fun to drive and gave them their character.

I liked that I could add a double din radio of my choice. How easy the standard transmission was to shift. The price was higher. The aftermarket lagged a little while the 4.6 motor had years and years of goodies. I liked the body lines. I grew to like most of the body lines in the 2010-2012 body. I agree with Charlie about the full diaper look. The cup holder sucked in the new body.

to be fair.. I'm nuts and like odd things. If they sold the 2002-04 svt focus again I would buy it. I'm talking no sync or anything. Just as it was offered in 2002.
If the new stang is crappy I will mod the heck out of the ST focus I have.

I wanted to order an Escape without the MFT... but my bride likes the tech stuff. And it's cool as hell when it works... which ours did about half-time for the first few months. We had several other electrical issues that may have been related somehow through the steering wheel controls. It still acts up occasionally, but Ford made it very clear to me early on that it's not a safety issue... so they'll fix it when they fix it. If they fix it.
To whomever mentioned it I have used CUE in Cadillacs. I dont care for it either but at least it works and doesnt lock up on you.
Just give me a solid basic mechanical package I can enjoy driving and not a bunch of fluff that costs money and aggravation.
One more thing. Ford has been trying to fix MFT for 2 years and its still not fixed. I dont care who is to blame. You write the check to Ford so they are responsible. Their biggest problems come from outsourcing. MFT, MT82, DCT, Powerstrokes of past, ect.... When will they finally learn?
There was a time when I thought you could buy a new redesigned Ford product the first year out with confidence. I no longer feel that way. Their quality has slipped big time and a lot of it is design errors and you can only polish a turd so much. I am excited about the new Mustang but I am not willing to part with my money to be the first in line. I dont trust them.
