On the contrary, I'm asking for anyone with some actual knowledge or information of internal Ford vehicle codes. Relax. Just to follow up I also notice that the shots of the "topless" mule without the front padding and camo last month appears to have maybe a 184W???. Too hard to tell as the shots aren't as high res as these most recent and the roof padding obscures the sticker on the windshield as well. If that is the case that would work out to some 3.0 liter engine which makes no sense I admit. So it very well could just be some random code but again any Ford fan or knowledgable car fan will get the significance of 302, seems more than coincidence. Not much else to do but make guesses until Ford gives the order for the '15 to strip.
By 3.0 liter do you mean 3.0 turbo 4-pot?

I'm glad I bought a 2014. If the 2015 turns out to be awesome, then I can always buy a 2016 or 2017 later.

Not the Z/28, they're gunning for the Corvette. Here's the best part, Ford doesn't have to beat the Corvette, just get close. This would drive Chevy crazy as they would have to raise the performance of the Camaro to a level even closer to their flagship car. That would be a product identity and marketing nightmare for old GM.

Does anyone notice that the SVT cars have the rear diff housing covered. Maybe a transaxle is hidden under there.

We've seen variants of this car with both steel and carbon ceramic rotors. Perhaps they'll be an option, like the upcoming M3/M4, and not standard like the Z/28.

Reason??

Tires are a 295/30R19

That's only a 26" tall tire. The current car rolls around on nearly 28" tall tires.

Smaller car coming....
Not necessarily true.

That's a big four pot, you really don't see automotive four bangers much over 2 to 2.5 liters. Although Porsche did have a 3.0 liter and Pontiac had a 3.2 liter. They both suffered from vibration problems though.

The 302 on the yellow sticker doesn't mean squat. The six digit number is a sequential number for all internally ordered cars. The letter indicates the purpose/department that ordered/owns the car.

It's also sporting an aluminum hub with internal splines. Doesn't look close to being a production component, unless SVT is planning for four wheel drive.

Huh? But it's not aftermarket. That's the point.

+1. I'd love to have a Mustang be as awesome as possible from the factory without having to go too deep into aftermarket. Not hating on modding in the least; it'd just be nice to not have to... as much.
