Got a tech question for you guys, when Recaro's are ordered on a premium does Ford still include all the harness plugs and relays etc needed to support converting back to premium power heated n cooled seats? I know the heating and cooling are inside the seats so thats not a question.

Ive got a 15 coming with Recaro's but if I want to be able to one day swap to premium seating for DD'ing would it just plug in and work or does Ford delete the supporting equipment?

The harness is most likely there to plug the differing seats into. I cant see Ford running two different wiring harnesses just to accommodate the different seats.

 

You might have the harness, but you'll be missing the buttons on the the console to turn those features on and off. Maybe MyFordTouch could be flashed to give you those buttons, but that's a question that probably can't be answered till somebody tries a seat swap.

 

I wouldn't count on the wiring/connectors being there.

Most of the additions I have done on my cars (Fusion, Flex) I had to run extra wires. Even the back cameras on the 13/14 don't have the connectors in the trunk if you didn't order the camera spoiler.
