We had a bunch of people interested in cool overlays for the 2015 push button start but no one making them, so I tried my hand! I've made one batch and getting a second printed because they got so popular. I figured there might be some interest here as well, so here there are:




I hope to learn some new things while I'm over here. I'm new to Ford but not to modding. Guard + Saddle interior ftw!

 

What is the material that is it made out of? Is it just a sticker/decal?

Btw I have a Guard coming my way with ceramic leather interior. Excited! Good choice on color!

 

I'm curious as well. They look great, but i would be worried about how long it would last. It would seem a sticker would wear out pretty quickly seeing as how often it will be used.

 

Yep, they're decals cut from a high quality, weatherproof gloss vinyl - Oracal 3165 GRA. Made locally here in Houston by a cool shop called Underground Graphics. They do everything from full car wraps to stripes to sweet decal designs.

Admittedly mine's only been on my car for about a month, but they're quality. Personally, I'm not that concerned if it only lasts a couple years. You could buy 5 different ones and switch them out whenever.

And yeah, i second the question on the wheels. You must've powedercoating those a gunmetal, yeah?

That's a great idea. The only "downside" to guard is coming up with a quality paint scheme. I've been leaning toward green and white/silver as its a classic racing combo. Those wheels are perfect!

 

That has to be the classiest color combination I've seen on an S550.

 

Right, and being vinyl, you can peel and stick them on and take them off without any stickiness residue. Easy, peasy. lol
