Lots of algebra in those questions ...

I drove both of of your targets a short while back! Gotta have XM,
yes, the $2000 package is a LOT for XM. (get the spare tire via
internet).

Offered OTD prices:

GT: 35,579
EB: 29,685

That is an additional .. $5,894 for the GT. (6K)

If you can spare the 6K Good. If not so much, you would get it back
at the end of the ride, and enjoy the 5.0.

6K is a lot, depending on if you look at it monthly, or if you were
to have to take it out of the bank. (or ask all of your friends for
$20 each, in which case just $20 is really a LOT of money). Or,
if you have the spare 6K saved by getting an EB, plan on lots of
HPDE, and new sets of tires over the next few years!).

MPG -- You will drive how you will drive. Make sure you can afford
a long term worst case. (Long commute, $4.20 for premium).

Drive it every day. Not a nicer car to drive/spend time in.

You will always want more power.

There will always be something cooler/faster/more modded.

Is there an insurance difference? V8/Turbo

If you get the GT, it *needs* the PP spoiler - very cool, and
the base GT wheels are anything but pretty ... they have to go
right away.

Get the Ecoboost!

Don't be foolish!! Get the Ecoboost! The GT is $10,000 more than the Ecoboost! Turbo kit for the Ecoboost is only $4500 bucks! This will take you 500whp! A stock 2018 GT is ois 400whp on premium fuel! The gas mileage on the Ecoboost is noteworthy!

You must get the Turbo kit, if not then just get the 18GT! The Ecoboost is 100lbs lighter than the GT! If both were at 500whp, the Ecoboost would win by à car length in the 1/4 mile! It will also eat GT on a road course! In a turn the Ecoboost can brake later than a GT cause its lighter! The heavier the car the sooner you must brake going into a turn on a road course!

However if you can afford a $6500 Vortech V3 setup after paying $36,000 for the GT, then go with the GT and be at 650whp+. Thats placing you at 650whp+ for less than $43,000 dollars! Can't beat that!

Get the GT with the A10 transmission for both fuel economy /3;15 gears and speed. This combo is actually faster the the Shelby GT350 in a straight line. Plus the A10 comes with remote start as standard and eliminates the MT82 manual mess.
