Are these renderings purely speculation or is there anything about them based on factual information about the actual 2015 model? Thanks!!

Both are great cars in their own right (owned a 91 LX 5.0 hatch and a 02 GT). The fox lacks what was considered "Mustang DNA" altogether and the SN95 cars only paid a little tribute to it although it seems more people outside of the S-197 community seem to prefer the SN95 look and size over the Fox and S-197 cars.

"People want sports cars to look like sports cars." If you think that the Camaro either looks like a sports car or is a sports car, then I think you are really kidding yourself. The Camaro neither is nor ever has been nor ever will be a sports car. Furthermore, whatever it used to be it isn't.

Even if it is selling better due to its "future retro" looks (thanks TT!), that's just another argument that "retro" can still sell. Ford just needs to evolve the Mustang, not drop "retro" altogether...

Resetting the Mustang design whether you want to call it retro or nor was a smart move, but only if Ford evolves it. No more complete redesigns as in '71, '74 and so on. A car as timeless, iconic and loved as the Mustang should evolve like the 911 or Aston Martin's have done so well. I'm worried that's nor going to happen though...

so much 70s hate in here. I've always thought of the 71-73s as the best looking of the first gens. If the styling of the next gen went in that direction I'd be pretty stoked. or in the direction of the II frankly
However I really do like those latest renderings, especially that red one

In my case, not hatred but...apathy...I guess.
Overall just bigger and more bloated than I'd prefer, I never cared for the GT500ish front end and I never liked the rubber front bumpers on the '72-'73 models. Still, if I ran across a Boss 351 or a big block '71, I certainly wouldn't turn it away.

fair enough lol
I dont think i know anyone that could turn a Boss 351 down
I'm defintely with you on the GT500 nose though. I really don't like the extended out grille area. and I know thats what the 67+ were like, but it just doesn't look that great

Pffffttt.... I think the GT500 fascia (well the 07-09 model at least) was the best looking proboscis of the bunch with the +10 Roush being the next best.
