Mustang street race fail almost takes out other car - Video

 

Krap like this almost makes me ashamed to drive a Mustang. Mustang crashes are a great source of amusement on a Porsche posting board I visit.

 

Why does it seem like everyone who doesnt know how to drive happens to buy a mustang?

 

Thats a good question,perhaps it's the cars and not the drivers. My '13 Shelby GT500 tried to kill me 2 times.Tires were spinning in 2nd gear,maybe 60 or 70 mph, it went sideways without warning. Ive had lots of tire spinning cars and none did this. They didnt have 662 HP though.

On the Corvette forum it's a running joke that Mustang owners don't know how to drive with all the Mustang videos.

 

I would think there are just as many vids of Camaro drivers trashing their cars fewer corvette vids because most of those guys are old lol

 

The old Corvete guys learned how to drive in their Mustangs - when they were younger.
But they'll never admit it!

 

Really?? My Mustang never tried to kill me. And I track it. Then again I treat the gas pedal with a very healthy amount of finesse and respect. It's not an On/Off switch.

 

Every car brand has it's fools, just don't become one.

 

First fender-bender I ever got in, I was the idiot. It was the first freeze of the season. Told myself that I needed to be extra careful of the idiot drivers out there. Was stopped at a stoplight at the base of an overpass. Light turned green, I was following the car in front of me, and as soon as I hit the bridge part, my wheels broke loose and the car spun around. Car behind me slid into me.

Cops didn't write me up, only gave me a warning for going too fast for the conditions. Which is about all they could say, since I don't think I ever broke 35mph. I was just still accelerating when I hit the bridge.
