Count me as another one who is waiting. I'll definitely be in the mood to purchase a next gen probably in it's second or third MY. Not sure if it will be an addition to the fleet or will be replacing one or more incumbents. Still enjoy driving and owning all I currently have so will have to see how everything plays out when that time comes.
I too was 9 years old when the original Mustang debuted and it'd be sweet to experience that phenomenon once more in my lifetime.

I'm very interested in seeing what the 2015 will look like and finding out about the mechanicals and electronics, but I won't be buying one. I took delivery of my 2011 only 371 days ago. I expect I'll keep it another 6-10 years.

I think I will wait for 2nd year, the 2016 model in Spring 2015. I want to let all you eager beavers enjoy all the first year issues, or at least buy a late build 2015 model.

I'm waiting.
I still enjoy my 08 GT, and I am not in any hurry. If I fall in love with the Next Gen, I will wait a year or two until they work the bugs out, before I buy one. Maybe even wait for a Next Gen SE - Boss, Shelby or SVO?

The current plan is to pay my '11 off, then save for a truck of some kind. Leaning towards a used 5.4 Raptor if I can find one in decent shape. That said, if the '15+ comes out with a major upgrade compared to my '11, I'll consider upgrading. It's going to take a lot for me to get into something that new.
And yes, patience is a virtue with this topic. We're two years out and people are chomping at the bit already, and we haven't even seen what the '13 refresh is going to look like.

Waiting. The current Stang, especially recently, has really seen a surge of development and immense improvement, but I think it might take a full refresh to truly bring the Stang's potential to fruition.

Well, I bought a brand new '11, but I'll probably trade up for a '13 depending on just how good it is. If it's simply an exterior refresh, I'll likely hold off; if it's something significant, like, say, a TR6060 and/or direction injection...I'll be placing my order as soon as the banks open

I thought about waiting for the second model year of the next generation Mustang, as I don't really need a car right now because I'm using a Jeep Commander as a daily driver, but four years is a long time to wait to drive a fun car to work. I also really like the looks and performance of the current Mustangs.

Love my current stang and going to pay her off first. Very interested to see what the next gen will look like, hopefully a new incarnation of retro. Most likely going to be putting a truck as my next purchase. Who knows though.

I think it is foolish to wait for a new design that may be two to three years away. I look at what is out there now and if I like it, I buy it. Right now , there is not much to dislike. Every year, the Mustang improves. Why miss out on a good thing. You can always trade the Mustang you have for the new design if it is that much better.
