That is a lot of money for mostly appearance. Of course the article is lacking in details. It only mentions a 21 HP bump, yet one of the pics shows a blower. Poorly written/researched click bait to me.

 

Off topic, where is that track located? I've seen pictures of it before.

I don't think its Las Vegas, not enough development visible. Probably Willow Springs out by Rosamond, CA or Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch in Pahrump, NV. Both are relatively close to the Shelby factory (Pahrump 1 hr, Rosamond 3 1/2 hours away).

 

I bought a new '08 Shelby GT, because it was built by Shelby, at Shelby, with a Shelby serial number. The Ford Performance parts they added were great, but every "genuine Shelby" part was junk. I've had no end of issues, replacing every part multiple times. Several need replacing again. I'd love a new GT-350, but would never buy another car prepared by SA.

 

The 2015/16/17 GT350 is a Ford Performance vehicle and has nothing to do with SA
