I drove a 15 and the best thing about it to me was the seats.

Well since you would have to have such a fancy smancy 15 then the 14 is your best bet :-) :-) lol the 14 GT is still a great car, tried and proven.

A tough choice, that's for sure!
As for issues on the '15? Some very early cars have had panel alignment issues. Nothing serious, but not as good as they could have been. Some Ecoboosts have been recalled for a fueling issue.....but that's a handful of cars I believe.
Good luck

I have an EB, and it is not included in the recall. The purchase of a car is a very emotional and individual thing. Ignore all the naysayers, and buy the one that really "talks" to you when you look at it. Based on your comments, I think the GT/CS has spoken...
As for other problems with the '15, I have had the car for three weeks, it is solid, runs like it is supposed to, and the fit and finish are very good. No rattles, squeaks or leaks (I took it through a brushless car wash to check).
.
My MPG has been averaging 31 to 32 mpg, with most driving on the Interstate at 75. So far, all smiles, all the time.

It sounds like a no brainer. Buy the 14, enjoy it a few years and if the 15 appeals to you in a few years, at least by then it will have a few years of kinks worked out. Also, there will be a ton of 15's around and you can shop for slightly used ones at that time.

You can always trade in your 14 later towards either a 16 or 17 when they arrive

Then I'd recommend going with the 14.. You'll be saving $11,700 over the 15 you would've wanted to order.. Plus you'll be getting a 2014 GT/CS convertible with just 1800 original miles for $30k.. You can always trade in your 14 later towards either a 16 or 17 when they arrive
