AutoWeek Cover.....and article!
-ok so it's the cover of automobile mag...does that make it the real mustang? -why the need for a poor photoshop? -why would ford set the 5th to have major viewing if they knew automobile mag was sending out on 3rd? -wouldn't automobile mag have had to sign some type of agreement with ford to not release photos before the 5th?

Ford would have come up with something special before i would even think about trading in my Mustang........................They have........I love everything about the 2015. If i get a good trade in $$$ i'll be ordering me a GT. My wife loves it also. She thinks it looks 'a little' like a 911 from the rear end picture, not to me though
. I think i read the GT with some kind of track option beat the Boss on an un named track. I think Ford must have put a good IRS on the 2015's.

Funny you post this because a buddy of mine at work saw me looking at the leaked pic of the profile and said "Y'know, it looks kinda like an Accord coupe".
I hope the general populace doesn't share his opinion!

A lot of the subtle details that give sports cars their "edginess" are difficult to see in photos. They always look better in person. I imagine nobody will be saying it looks like an Accord in person except for maybe...Accord owners lol.
But yes, good job Ford...that car looks incredible. I'll be waiting for the SVT model too but I feel much better knowing that the car has been well designed.

People have also said that about the C63 AMG coupe and the BMW 4 series etc etc

Yep I read that too! Should be expected though since the Camaro version of the track pack already beats the boss. I can't wait to order a 2015 with track pack, hopefully recaros are still an option. That's the one thing I miss in my current car.

I'll be looking into getting the track pack too. I'm sure you won't be able to get it with an automatic so my wife said it would be fine with her to get a manual transmission. My truck in a 5 speed manual, she does good with it.

Overall, very very nice. A few initial thoughts:
A great contemporary update of the Mustang DNA - fresh and current but very much a Mustang.
Rear end is still its weakest point, again looking a bit droopy and bottom-heavy and lacking overall design clarity.
Front end is very good and shows that the Fusion/EOS/kinetic design can render an excellent Mustang nose.
Side windows remind me a lot of the new Vette, a good design but perhaps a shame that they're so close.
Hard to tell for sure given the pics, but the interior looks like a great modernization if, like the rear, lacking a touch of overarching design clarity and cohesion, i.e., a bit of a lose agglomeration of individually excellent elements.
Overall, an excellent update and advancement of the Mustang lineage.
