Interesting. Not a drastic change; but that's also maybe not a bad thing- curious to see the full spec sheet and really diving in depth - Inside and out.

3 dashed LED's a coincidence?? shout to 1st Gen.

It looks like the MGW shifter and ball. Except nobody ever orders the MGW ball they always use some sort of cue ball.

There's an "oxford white".

Now to the elephant in the room, how much is it going to be, and is it going to price itself out of competitiveness? Was looking through the Ford site and with all the new stuff added, IRS, keyless, memory seats, heated and cooled seats, blind spot system, sound systems, etc. I'm afraid you're going to be looking at a fully loaded GT being $50K.

But that back end is reminiscent of what I'm talking about. I guess the slant bugs me. It looks...stretched.

I'm still underwhelmed overall, but it has potential. I think the look (especially the front end) changes considerably by the 3rd iteration. I don't love it, but I'm going to watch it.

Yes. Now that you mention it, it does.

I think this is what bothers me about the front; it just doesn't seem to fit with the rest of the car (profile-wise). From the front, I can understand it, but I still don't love it. From the side, it looks like a muscle car front end attached to a sports car.

The front of the car is just too boxy compared to how slanted the rear is.
I guess adding quarter window louvers and side scoops isn't an option anymore

I love it. The pricing will determine whether I buy one or not.

Will Ford finally release all the HP and specs in the morning on all three engine models?

They may keep some details for the live unveil, but I suspect we won't know exact figures until some time next year. The engine lineup looks to be similar to the Fusion; offer a base NA motor, smaller Ecoboost with similar horsepower to the NA but better fuel economy, then a top-tier engine with more sporty performance.

Yeah, I don't like my own opinion anymore. It's a **** nice looking car and, if I was ready to buy a new car, I'd be all over it. Since I still have 22 payments left on my 2011 and that my next vehicle will be a kid-hauling Ford Flex, it's moot for me.

I think it does a great job of keeping us loyalists happy while widening the appeal in the US and around the world. Well done Ford.

That is a good thing in my opinion. I think anything retro is going to look ridiculous with this generation but I'm sure that won't stop vendors from trying though.
