AutoWeek Cover.....and article!
I'm still waiting until official photos from Ford, but if that is the final center stack I'm very disappointed. From the touch screen down, it looks like something that is 10-15 years old.
I just don't like it. I was hoping for Evos styling and I got my Mustang had illegitimate children with a Fusion. I know its going to grow me, but right now I love my 2011 more than the new lines of the 15.
I have to agree. I generally like it, and I quite like the rear and 3/4 views, but overall I'm not blown away. I particularly don't like the squinty headlights that stretch back toward the front wheel wells.
Maybe once I see it in the flesh, or even see some better pics and vids, my opinion will change. I do look forward to hearing some specs on it. That could instantly make it more "attractive".

I guess that's possible! I might see what you're talking about. I see what appears to be some discrepancy on the left side, when you compare the pic of overall frontal shot of the car and the close up of the left side of the grill in the "stack" of 4 pics a few pages later. In the first pic, it looks like the honeycomb pattern is horizontally "stretched" but in the close up pic, that isn't evident.

Man, I like the Car and Driver renders better - their head lights, tail lights and just general surfacing came out better. I like the curvier, baby Aston look better than the chiseled appearance of Chaz's renders and these pics. I think the decklid with the pony came out nice though. That lower valance being painted...not feeling it - easily solved with black vinyl or plastidip though. The new Performance Packages sound legit! 14" rotors and 4 piston calipers standard on GT, with the 15" 6 pistons optional. Lord have mercy!
He says it was just badly stretched due to them doing some bad photoshopping of the photo for the cover of the magazine. I took a screen capture of it on my phone, hopefully you can read it lol. And we know it's the actual cover because several people have gotten it in the mail.
Apparently they called to confirm that the photos are official.

-ok so it's the cover of automobile mag...does that make it the real mustang?
-why the need for a poor photoshop?
-why would ford set the 5th to have major viewing if they knew automobile mag was sending out on 3rd?
-wouldn't automobile mag have had to sign some type of agreement with ford to not release photos before the 5th?
