911s are a niche sports car that appeal to a very limited market, have a very high cost, and sell in very small quantities compared to Mustangs. Mustangs have to appeal to a much wider market and sell many more cars to make a profit. If the Mustang sold like a 911 it'd be long dead or cost $80k.

at ~20,000-25,000sales a year on 911's, I wouldn't say niche. Niche is like a Lotus model at ~3k a year. And 911's do appeal to a vastly different demographics and wide markets... There are 20 different 911 models to meet that- each with different amenities to distinguish buyers.

He also has a few interesting F-150 sketches:

I would totally rock that F150. Hot ****.

Some of the Mustang sketches look too evolutionary to me, but I do see touches of Evos in some of the others though.

Some interesting designs there.........although I'm not sure on the 30" rims

(the interior sketch is pretty stunning though!)

That Frank Wu has a lot of nice styling ideas... Evolutionary is what the Mustang needs.

That interior and the f-150's are awesome! The Mustangs however, while sweet, are too "evolutionary" and i dont see it happening

I do like the wheels, they look like the previous gen anniversary wheels.

That is what I am wondering about too. Just that fact alone means the new Mustang will not look exactly like the Evos in the back. The taillamps will have to be dropped down lower and perhaps they will have to do what they did in 67-68 to get that full fastback look for the coupe with the raised decklid contour while providing a level deck that works for a convertible version.

I just posted on another thread with this rendering, and by far to me this is the best one. My Friend at Ford who hooked me up with the Pace Car said that the Mustang will look nothing like the Fusion or Taurus... Just food for thought...

Plus the high belt line reminds me of another car from brand X.
