Yeah, definitely singing from the same song book.
I might digress in one of two areas, but of course, all this is speculation at this point so who knows who will be proved more accurate:
I don't think the 2015 will have much of the Giugiaro Concept influence. That will be nearly 8 years old when the 2015 gets released mid '14 and that Concept was more, I think, a personal interpretation rather than something more deeply reflecting Ford's own design themes. If it did influence anything, then it was more likely the 2010 refresh.
I'll stand by my current supposition that the 2015 will more resemble a stretched and tweaked Evos than anything else, which would be just fine in my book as I think the Evos is a great looking design theme concept.

This isn't bad. Can we get someone to chop the rear end just a little and make it slightly less full fastback? Give it just a small amount of trunk lid...

Front and rear view look fine but the side view looks like that cab forward thing Chrysler did a few years ago and not very sporty. We want the front wheels pushed as far forward as possible and the enigne placed as far back as possible from the front wheels to get more weight over the rear wheels. That cab forward is also a pain to work on as the windscreen is over the back of the engine.
You have to imagine it without the doors up. Must be a reason they don't have any sides shots of the car with the doors down. Looks like an econo box.

Wow, *****y and nonconstructive! I intended to butch it up a little. If you don't like it fine, I often change a chop with valid input.
I don't see a reason to get rid of the "C".....it isn't so much retro as a styling continuation, a thead that connects, kind of like the kidney grill on a BMW. It changes with every evolution.

Whilst I quite like Jinx's take on the front end, I'm glad to read your comment, Steve. I'm happy for the Evos to be the inspiration for any other Ford (Fiesta, Focus, Mondeo etc), but it's just too modern for my liking as a basis for the Mustang.

Has potential but not a great fan of the slanty, upswept, Giugiaro-ish headlights. Am kinda glad to hear the new Mustang won't be too influenced by the EVOS and will hopefully still be it's own car.
