2015 Photoshop/Rendering Thread

While I'm Not a Fan of C&D's Render, it's Not Even Close to a Fusion Coupe. But Some People just Dont Get It that the Grill on the 2015 will look more like an Evolution of the 2013/2014 Mustang, which in it's self is an Evolution of the 67/68 Shelby's Grill. Not to mention that the proportions of the 2015 Mustang alone will make it look Nothing Like a Fusion. It's Dash to Axle Ratio Clearly Define it as a Rear Wheel Drive Car, and it will be Much Lower and Wider with a Much More Agressive Stance. Nobody will Mistake it for a Fusion.
If the grill on the 2015 will look more like an Evolution of the 2013/2014 Mustang or 67/68 Shelby's Grill, then fine. But in all renders it looks like a copy of the Fusion grill.

That's a funny statement considering every other Vette you see is driven by somebody in that age group, and you can't say the Corvette doesn't look agressive. I actually want to say most new Vettes are driven by 45s and up men. I guess age has nothing to do with liking aggressive looking cars. Or Ferrari wouldn't sell any cars. How many college boys or high-school kids can afford a Ferrari or even a Corvette or Viper?

I think your seeing the $$$ come into effect. Most of us can't afford a new Vette. Most of those oldy Vette owners drive them like they have a box of kittens in the passenger seat. Same is true for the Farrari's etc. Too much money for the younger chaps. Of course, that's not true for all old guys as I don't have the money to buy those kinda of cars. Lol However, I do buy used Mustangs and hope I still like this next generation coming for 2015.

Will the average person even notice the change between the 13/14 and 15. I showed my wife and she said whats the difference besides the lights and windows? Whats really going to attract a new audience? The IRS and interior?

The front is totally different for starters. 2014 has a Mustang front. 2015 has a Fusion front. Roof line is also much more fastback in 2015 and the 2015 is much less muscular looking, at least according to most renders.

Lol, I don't mean to pour gas on this fire, but I still like this old rendering better.
Attachment 147940
I would just lose that sharp edge in the rear quarters.

Sure. All I was saying is that I don't think liking aggressive looking cars or not is age related. I think if you like them when you are in your teens and 20's you will still like them in your 40's and up. Many guys in their 20's like trucks and they will still do when they are in their 40's.

Here's from American Muscles blog.
I think this looks a little better to me. Probably because I'm not a big fan of red. Maybe if they made the front end a bit more aggressive, like someone mentioned, it would represent the Mustang better.

For me this is easily an evolved Mustang. As for a Fusion/Aston front end, I'd say they copped their front ends from Mustang.
Ground zero was the 65-66. I see those in the spy photos and renders. Most desirable perhaps were the 67-68. I see that in the photos and renders. I see the beloved 69-79 Muscle car Mustangs in the renders. I see a bit if 70-73, and even 74-79. Sure, I don't see much of the Fox body cars, but they were Mustang placeholders anyway. And I do see the corporate face applied from them. What I do see, and like is a modern Mustang very much in line with the past but pointing clearly to the future. I see my second Ford purchase and a car to convert many from imports. I see a true halo car for a more contemporary and exciting Ford. Will it be perfect, no. But that's the real beauty of Mustangs, the ability to customize then easily and make then your own.

71-73 = bigger rears and more rounded edges.
74-78 = little stangs that are hated by most that were caught up in the times
79-93 = fox body stangs
I like the 69-70's best myself.
