You don't see them complaining it doesn't look European enough there.
I'm not saying that I love the design but there is a lot of JDM fanboys that say the mustang is ugly which pisses me off and I guess Ford wants to appeal to a more younger crowd.

Don't misunderstand me here.
I agree, it DOES need to change. Younger people aren't buying them as much anymore AND they have more of a selection.
And it's not because its ugly (keep in mind people have their opinion and its subjective, so in some cases that may be their reasoning)

The current gen riding on the D2C is long in the tooth. It needs a more drastic update to keep with the times and to keep longtime buyers and at the same time attact younger buyers.

this is no small task I can assure you.

BUT... if I were a betting man...
I would say I doubt Ford would do you wrong.

It may not be everything to everyone, but it WILL look Mustang.
And it does need to appeal to a broader market, but that doesn't mean that it will look 'european' or 'not american' or 'not mustang'

I am not the least bit worried about what Ford's designers are going to show us for the next Mustang. They will get it right.

The title of this thread is PHOTOSHOP thread. Start another "discussion" thread if you want to. Jesus, it's the same d@mn bickering back and forth. If I wanted to read that, I'd go to Macrumors and read people b*tch about iPhone 5 versus iPhone 6.

The way I figure, look at the current design trends and queues making the cars unique and not generic like many cars out there.

I think a lot of these photoshops are too smooth.
They are nice, but I'm expecting something a bit different.

Like aslighty sleeker version of the current gen? Honestly all i expect is a refreshed design with Aston cues. Maybe a touch of Jag too

I don't expect a refresh at all.
This sounds like a ground up design.

I'd be fine with an evolution of the current proportions and some new styling cues. I don't want a knock off Aston either.

definitely - modern, with the right proportions. The Mustang can't continue with the retro look forever.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, Porsche does. Please Ford EVOLVE the Mustang from the '05 reset rather than reinvent. I want a lighter less fussy car but one that feels like a future version of the current car (and 65 to 68 lineage), not a completely new car.
