i cant see the overhang being that much.. its not even that much on the fusion and the fusion is FWD. probably a little camo play to toy with all the crazies following the car (myself included)
that engine bay wouldnt seem to match up with that much front end.

Take a look at the fuel door, first time we've seen it uncovered. Not only is it sticking out pretty far compared to the present car's fenders the mule is wearing, it also has a really sharp character line running right through it. The angle and slope also suggest the surrounding quarter panel area will be dramatically different on the new car. Looks like the new Mustang is going to have some curvy Hips.

Nice catch, and possibly explains the odd camo we saw on the black mules.
Sad, but these threads really excite me

Indeed, I guess only small details will be changed now. Perhaps little things commented on at the market research event.
Which reminds me......one thing mentioned was that there was a Ford badge on the steering wheel. I love Ford, but the Mustang should only ever have a Mustang badge on the steering wheel (and, yes, I'm well aware that hasn't always been the case........but it SHOULD have always been the case )

This likely confirms my suspicion that the Mustang will take on the Ford family front end. I personally liked how the 2005-13 Mustang has a unique look compared to all other cars in the Ford lineup. I guess we are going back to the fox body days when the Mustang's look blend in with other Fords...

Needs to be more Astony
Definatly more modern looking car.
You can see where the door indent will be lower, and the more modern lower ground effects on the car. The belt line on the door is slightly lower below the window opening.

Nice work.
With the lines you've drawn and the look of the fuel door, definitely giving me the Aston Martin look.
