Lightbulb 2015 Mustang prototype gets production nose/hood

Looks like development is moving on to exterior.

2015 Mustang Mule Caught With Production Nose & Hood

But doesn't look as sleek as all the renders??

Given those pictures though, is the side not changing much?

It is only the clip of the 2015 on this mule. The sides will change.

Looks like kind of a lot of visual mass and overhang, but given all the coverings, hard to tell for sure (might be a lot of padding underneath to disguise true shape). It does seem to imply a bit of a Fusion-like front end, presumably sportified up appropriately.

Agreed. Probably another Red Herring.

Surpirised the time taken on the Fuel door, with the lines that match the current fender. That might just be where the fuel door will be, making the rear fender protrude out more and higher.

Hmm....Fastback?!?!

These camo coverings are specially designed to trick you and not let you really see what's underneath. The camo has a grill opening that looks like the fusion, but underneath it may not even remotely resemble that shape.

Nice.
All it shows is the opening which could be for engine/cooling testing.

Promising though...shark is still there...

Agree, all I can kinda see is the front bumper.

This.

It's cool to see these popping up now though! It just doesn't reveal much

not a huge fan of how far the front of the car hangs over the wheels. I feel like the tires should be closer to the front of the car. The new SRT Viper has this same look.

No Sir. Don't like it.

Granted it is still early, with 10 or so months to go before metal begins being stamped. Things are hardly set in stone at this point.

Umm.. with just over a year until production begins.. I would say ABSOLUTELY it's set in stone. That's the blink of an eye in design, engineering, manufacturing and testing time.

Eh, I'm still thinking 2-door fusionish thing, that being said, Ford will make it pretty cool. I'm interested since I'll being looking for a new dd during this gen.
