I've ALWAYS been a fan of Comp Orange on Mustangs, and same goes for my wife too. She thinks she may want a black one, but I haven't shown her what Guard looks like yet. As much as I love Comp Orange, there's something about it that just doesn't set right with me on the S550. I will reserve final decision when I see them all in person, but right now I want one in Guard for sure.

 

I am leaning towards a coupe in Magnetic with red interior and performance package, with Recaro's. I don't think the Recaro's will come in red, just the red line stitching. Then I would go with black leather w/Recaro's.

I am torn on the Race Red with the performance package. I love Red...though decision.

 

I guess I'm really diverse in m choice. DIB or Oxford White.

I would go with competition orange or tri yellow. Next choice would be DIB.

 

Orange is a tricky color, that orange in the pic is almost a salmon type hue, might be the florescent light causing the shift, hating it HUGE time, with that said, I really like a nice deep orange, well saturated and rich.
FORD should as a matter of policy, offer ANY color, from past to present, for a small premium....I was blown away when I first set eyes on the candy red, I paid extra for it ( I think it was under $500) but it's what I wanted.
Bottom line is, pressed car panels start out in steel form, why not offer a broad color selection to the general public, instead of a few choices?
