I believe a 5.0L 400HP (crank) will be included in the 2011 GT.

A poster over on Stangnet is claiming he gets to test drive the 2011 5.0 today...he is a test engineer for Roush if I remember correctly.

Yeah, not really believing that. He joined the forum just to tell everyone that he was driving it? Doubtful, but interesting none the less.

I agree that it is suspect. Wouldn't he have to sign a confidentiality agreement with Roush?

I sent this to roushperformance.com today. We shall see!

The below post was made on Stangnet.com. Obviously many are wondering if he is legitimate. I thought you might want to share a comment. Thanks and keep making such outstanding mustangs.

If you were driving one...why in the **** would you tell people who and where you are employed.
That's just asking for it (if legitimate)

Fuel for the fire! Anyone else see this or hear about it? Claims Coyote will come with 425hp and has been dyno'd at 468 on the engine dyno.

i read this a while back and it would be amazing if true. Ford would definately benefit in sales if this rumor is true. Can't wait for the L.A. Auto show.

There's been multiple 5L engines with multiple ratings running around Ford's test tracks for the past year. Just have to wait and see.

OK, in all the excitement I guess I've assumed that the actual 2011 Mustang will be shown at the LA show. Is this the case or will it be a press release on the hardware only?

If the car won't be at LA, when will we get our first glimpse? Detroit in January?

I anxious to see if there are any subtle changes to the car such as the possibility that we'll see the new front and rear facias seen on the "accessories" car at SEMA. At least, this is what I'm hoping for

I like that front end. It looks aggressive. Also the fog lights do need ot be a tad bit bigger too.

If I ever buy a GT w/ that fascia, the fogs are getting ditched for brake ducts
