Possible Cobra return?

To the comments about Shelby American taking over all Shelby Mustang production, I don't think you will see that happening unless Ford Racing sells them the parts. Shelby has become a bolt-on only shop. When they can't even swap in a decent set of pistons on a 600+ hp sc'd car that they charge 30k+ over the price of a GT that has to tell you something.

i dont know but my 2 shelbys have svt on the door sills and svt markings on the motor. as far as motors go i would like to see the 6.2 with 4 valve heads on it thinking 500 hp just alone. hmm stroking it to 427and whipple now thats what i am talkin about

So does anyone think we will see a 20th anniversary Cobra? Either as a GT500 or stand alone SVT Cobra?
I can't see SVT letting the 20th go by without something happening. Maybe the rumors of the GT500 updates will include 20th badges.

It needs to be a Cobra R! However, that will compete with the 2013 Boss 302, so we may be out of luck.
