love the quad exhaust, tell me thats not gonna be a favorite 10-12 GT500 mod
on the new rear:
Just like on the GT the canvas is pulled tight from the end of the spoiler (which sticks out past the taillights) to the top of the bumper so we cant get any idea if they changed the taillight or trunklid angles. can someone ask them to put a spoiler delete mule out there so we can see what they are up to.

The 2013 appears to be getting a face lift ala the GT500.

i wouldnt take too much too seriously about what you see in the heavier camo cars. here is an interesting article from C&D on someone who is contracted to do the camo on mules.

I would not read too much into the vinyl taped-on reflectors affixed to the bottom of the rear bra. They are required to be there for the prototype to be legally street driven. You have to remember they are disguising the new taillamps with mesh sewn into the bra that is probably hiding the actual reflectors built into the tailllamps. The actual reflectors are functionless behind the mesh with only light being able to show through during braking, turn signals and running lamps.
I have never been fond of the 2010 restyle of the Shelby GT500 grille/hood combination. With the higher grille and front hood opening being set back and exposed behind the top edge of the grille it is as graceless as a Mustang II not to mention the rounded and expansive bulge of the hood looks bloated and nose heavy. The soft hood lines also look out of place against all the other body lines which are sharp edged. On the bright side, this tragic look seems like it can be retrofitted with the much better looking '10-'12 non-GT500 designs.
Looks like the Mustang will get on the LED running lamp band wagon... I cannot wait until this stupid fad passes!
