Oh, one more tidbit. There are no C or Hockey Stick stripes like the original. Instead of all you folks doin' a Texas Two Step on the rumor, do a little diggin' around on your own. Maybe Ford is going to, as Hitler said in the TracKey video, rape some beaches from the Bowtie and Mopar stables.

I'm not really stirring the pot. Just putting out what I think is "credible" intel on what is coming down the pike. Not sure what the motor may be but the source is reliable(and un-named for job security). Ford has to counter the Government Motors Camaro and the bloated Mopar. Obviously not a track car but a butt kicker.

Shelby's contract runs out next year so that'll be done with Shelby will no longer be on the mustang and we may have a gap year or two for a new cobra to come out but I highly doubt it...odds are they'll run right into the Cobra and maybe do some huge blowout on these things for the 50th anniversary but at this point it's anyones guess...I just doubt they could run all these variations!!!
ive been wondering since reading long ago that the hurricane was designed to be 7 litre capable- why not?
wether it happens or not, who knows, but would bet someone at Fords at least tinkering with the idea.
now if they'd just update the taillights

The only thing I have even remotely related is the possibility of a "Boss 351", and based on other info I have gleaned, it was likely only an early hint at the 2013 GT500 and NOT a Boss variant.
Boss 429 is HIGHLY unlikely IMO.

Once Shelby's contract ends, the Boss will be the top dog comin from Ford. Keep watchin Shelby though because they might come out with somethin of their own! Lets see if the SVT group can stay ahead of the game. Its about time for the mighty Cobra to return to the streets
Roush raced a stroked 6.2L a couple years ago in NMRA. It was code named the "777" - 7 liters, 700hp @ 7k RMP...
It "could" happen...

You won't see a Boss 429. Well, you will in the form of the new 2013 GT500, although not 429 cubic inches. Ford has to slot their product so that it offers appeal at all levels and justifies pricing. I mean how many more Mustangs do we need? The V-6, GT 5.0, Boss 302, and GT500. Where would yet another one be squeezed into the stable? Once Shelby is dropped, Ford may tweak some existing models with new offerings and there's plenty of potential that presently remains untapped in the forementioned models that will take Ford well into the future with the Mustang.
Don't you think we'd know by now if there was a '13 model coming out? Considering the dealers meeting already happened, I would suspect a '13 model would have been there and we'd have heard of it by now. They did a decent job keeping the 302s under wraps until Laguna, but by now it's too close.
Don't count on it for '13.

Where has it been stated that Shelby will be dropped anytime soon?
And with limited production SEs...especially for the last couple of years of a given product cycle, those aren't mainstays of the product line.
BOSS was Team Mustang.... Shelby is SVT
