Tire Pressure Sensor Fault

I got a Tire Pressure Sensor Fault for the second time this morning on the way to work. When I got out of work, all tires were good on air pressure, the light and warning were off and did not come on again on the drive home.
I stopped by the dealership and they said there is really nothing they can do unless the light is on.
I was concerned the first time it happened about a week ago, but saw that I had good pressure and when I started the car back up, the warning and light went away.
Can the dealer reprogram these things? Would too high of a pressure cause it? Maybe to great a difference between tires (they were a few psi different when hot)?
I don't really want to wait until it is on all the time as I do travel a bit and don't want to get used to running with it on and ignoring it in case there is actually a problem with pressure.
BTW Stock tires, stock rims, no tune.

You cant really tell which sensor is faulty until it completely goes out and triggers the lamp. Your dealer should have no qualms with reprogramming the sensors for you. Theres no promise that it will help anything, but it couldnt hurt.
