Sport shifter switch inop /Thread Has Forscan As-Built Help Topics!

After working through my steering wheel audio control issues it's now time to address my sport shift issue.
Mind you, I have yet to actually drive this vehicle (2013 V6 Base) but I would still think that by dropping the transmission in Sport mode, even sitting still, I should get a readout somewhere that I'm manually shifting the gears. I get nothing. Does the gear selector on the base model show up on the center of the display like my 2014 F150 FX4??
I understand that these switches can be a bit problematic and might need cleaning, but with my incompatibility issue with my ACM I'm kind of leaning that way.
Does anyone have any experience with issues with these?
Thank you.

Shifter update

I was able to remove the shifter **** from the vehicle and test it separately. Switch works as it should.
Confirmed that the connector was plugged in during reinstall.
Switch still inop.
Couple questions for the group:
Does the vehicle need to be moving to use the selector switch on the shifter ****?
Is the vehicle supposed to show an "S" on the instrument cluster when the vehicle is placed in Sport mode, even when standing still?
Does the Base model cluster show what gear the vehicle is in on the instrument cluster?
This vehicle is new to me, so I'm just trying to understand what I'm looking for.
Thank you.

Sport shift fixed

Well, again I needed to reflash my cluster. The Sport shift may have actually been working but there would be nothing showing on the cluster. After a reflash to As Built everything seems to be right, but it'll be a while before the car leaves the garage to test it. I have to admit the new version of Forscan with the return to As Built feature is pretty handy.
Hope this helps someone else.

I'm late to this thread, but I'm very curious as to how the as-built got jacked up to begin with.

Two things come to mind:

1. Less likely, previous owner was modifying the as-built data.
2. More likely, the module was replaced and never reflashed with the original as-built settings.

Module

The car had been taken apart previously, and I can't confirm that all the original parts were used to put it back together.
